Evil Dead starts of with five friends sitting in a car on their way to a cabin in the woods,
where they plan to have a vacation. Shortly after arrival they discover the 'Necronomicon'
which means something like 'The Book Of The Dead' and a tape recorder, which once
belonged to a proffesor, who was investigating the Necronomicon. They play back the
contents of the tape, which is a Candarian resurrection passage from the Necronomicon.
The Passage unleashes the evil deep within the woods, and soon the five friends start
getting possesed by the evil forces. The ones possesed turn into deadites or zombie-like
creatures, which only can be killed by total body dismemberment. At the end Ash is the
only survivor who is able to leave the cabin...
